What this is

Long before machines fit in your pocket and couldn't be repaired they came in beige boxes with switches you could feel, manuals you could bend and write in, and fan noises you learned to love. The Beige Age is a show about that world — the home computers, calculators, and synths and a lot, lot more from the 70's, 80's and 90's, the companies that built them, and the people who could never quite let them go.

Expect deep-dives into specific machines and product lines, some myth-busting, the odd interview with people who were actually there, and a healthy respect for beige plastic that's yellowed slightly more with age.
